The authors of Putting Your Passion Into Print return to Strand with insider information on how to tailor your book idea into a concise and effective pitch to help you get published! The first 25 attendees to arrive will receive a pass to pitch their book idea for 1 minute to a panel of publishing industry professionals. The panel will then give each pitch feedback on if its a publishable idea and if it would sell successfully. Panelists include Editor-in-Chief, Workman Publishing; Founder, Levine Greenberg Literary Agency; Publisher, Spotlight Entertainment; Co-Authors of Putting Your Passion into Print. David Eisenbach, author of Gay Power: An American Revolution will discuss the significance of gay liberation and the history of the Gay Pride Parade with photographer Hank O'Neal whose new book, Gay Day: The Golden Age of the Christopher Street Parade, 1974 to 1983 features photos taken during the early days of the nation's first organized gay pride parade.
